Prof. Wang Can Tianjin University

Bio

Prof. Wang Can is a Professor and Director of the Department of Environmental Engineering at Tianjin University. His research focuses on volatile organic compounds (VOCs) biofiltration, odour control technologies, and microbial community structure and function analysis. With extensive industrial experience, he has been granted more than 30 patents and has led over 10 major scientific research projects. Prof. Wang has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers and is widely recognised for his contributions to air pollution and odour management. He serves as a Management Committee Member of the International Water Association (IWA) Odours and Volatile Emissions Specialist Group and is the Director of the VOCs and Odour Pollution Control Committee in China.
