Syarifah Norlia W Bujang PETRONAS, Malaysia

Syarifah is a seasoned environmental specialist with vast working experience for projects and operation spanning across SE Asia and the Middle East. She was a signatory chemist and registered environmental consultant and is currently serving as Principal (Environment) at PETRONAS Refinery and Petrochemical Corporation Sdn. Bhd. She is passionate about sustainability, risk assessment and has lead initiatives/projects and operations towards good environmental practices and compliance, including development of technical guidelines and policies at company, national and international levels. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia) and MSc in Land Use and Water Resource Management (University Malaysia Sarawak). She also completed Business and Climate Change course with Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, University of Cambridge.
